Wargames exclusive Tau

     It's a first miniature that I painted without using an airbrush (well, I used my airbrush for the cloak, but that's about it) in almost 5 years. Pretty challenging but fun experience, now I just can't imagine how professional painters spend 150-200 hours painting a single miniature. To me those 4 or 5 hour that I spent painting this miniature felt like an eternity. I think it has something to do with a visual progress that you can see with every step you are doing during painting and when you paint by brush it just takes a lot more time to finish each singular step, so progress comes more slowly.
